The former president John Mahama<\/a> has said he is now a grandfather following the birth of his granddaughter, which coincided with his 64th birthday.<\/p>\n

Speaking as the special guest at the 13th graduation of the Accra Business School on Saturday (2 December), Mahama said: \u201cI am a grandfather, my son\u2019s wife had a baby on my birthday.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I share the same birthday as my granddaughter, so thank you very much,\u201d Mahama told the graduants.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the former First Lady Lordina Mahama<\/a> has described her husband John Mahama as a dependable husband and an inspiring father as he celebrates his 64th birthday today (29 November).<\/p>\n

In a Facebook post, Lordina expressed gratitude to God for blessing the former president with good health and a pure heart.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn your 64th birthday, all I ask for is God\u2019s continuous blessings upon your life, John Dramani Mahama<\/a>. You have been a dependable husband and inspiring father.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Good Lord has blessed you with robust health, a great sense of judgment and a pure heart. There is nothing more I could have asked for in a life partner,\u201d she wrote.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
