{"id":2516,"date":"2024-07-31T05:04:17","date_gmt":"2024-07-31T05:04:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghnewsbay.com\/?p=2516"},"modified":"2024-07-31T05:04:17","modified_gmt":"2024-07-31T05:04:17","slug":"death-of-three-year-old-continuous-adjournment-affecting-our-client-says-lil-wins-legal-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ghnewsbay.com\/?p=2516","title":{"rendered":"Death of three-year-old: Continuous adjournment affecting our client, says Lil Win\u2019s legal team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lawyers for Ghanaian actor and comedian Kwadwo Nkansah, aka Lil Win have expressed frustration at the manner in which the trial against their client continue to suffer further adjournment.<\/p>\n<p>This came to light when prosecution told the Asokore Mampong Court that the AG was yet to present its report for the full trial to commence.<\/p>\n<p>The actor is on a GHC50,000 bail\u00a0following a recent accident involving a vehicle he was driving, resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy.<\/p>\n<p>The court on Monday (29 July) adjourned sitting to 22 August, pending the Attorney General\u2019s advice.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Asaase News Lil Win\u2019s legal team said even though the case has affected their client professionally and personally, they remain hopeful for a resolution that considers the tragic loss and the implications for all parties involved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are waiting for the AG\u2019s report. It is based on this report that we will know how the case will travel,\u201d stated Lil Win\u2019s Lead Counsel Margaret Mary Agyei Twum. \u201cWe are mindful of the fact that a young boy is dead, and this changes the narrative. We don\u2019t want to put the family into too much tragedy.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"stream-item-size\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThis accident has really affected him.
