Onyeka Onwenu just performed at the birthday of Mrs. Stella Okoli today (Tuesday, July 30, 2024), and after performing, she slumped.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cShe was taken to Reddington Hospital and she couldn\u2019t make it,\u201d the eyewitness said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">However, the deceased\u2019s family has yet to announce her death as of press time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Onwenu will be remembered for her music albums such as In The Morning Light and Dancing In The Sun.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">She also featured in movies like\u00a0<i>Half of a Yellow Sun\u00a0<\/i>and<i>\u00a0Lions Hear<\/i>t, among others.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Legendary Nigerian singer and actress, Onyeka Onwenu has died at the age of 72.
