{"id":2764,"date":"2024-08-28T04:28:00","date_gmt":"2024-08-28T04:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ghnewsbay.com\/?p=2764"},"modified":"2024-08-28T04:28:00","modified_gmt":"2024-08-28T04:28:00","slug":"the-npp-government-has-succeeded-in-many-creative-space-says-frank-owusu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ghnewsbay.com\/?p=2764","title":{"rendered":"The NPP Government has  succeeded  in many creative space, says Frank Owusu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The acting Deputy CEO of the Creative Arts Agency Frank Kwabena Owusu, has said that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asaaseradio.com\/read-the-highlights-of-the-npps-2024-manifesto\/\">Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government<\/a>\u00a0has accomplished a number of successes in the creative sector, which are frequently overlooked.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Asaase\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.asaaseradio.com\/afrobeats-artists-are-lazy-says-flavour\/\"><em>Artsy<\/em><\/a>\u00a0on Saturday (24 August), Nutakor said, \u201cThe five pillars of this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.asaaseradio.com\/npps-education-manifesto-reflects-extensive-stakeholder-engagement-says-prince-hamid-armah\/\">Dr. Bawumia\u2019s manifesto<\/a> are to create jobs, drive economic growth, preserve cultural heritage and our heritage, enhance international connectivity and accessibility, and also enhance our global presence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe, the creative and tourism industries, play a huge part in these five pillars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cAnd I\u2019m very excited that under each and every pillar, something has been enumerated to give us some hope that when he becomes the president, inshallah, which is going to be possible by 2025, we\u2019ll see all these things coming to fruition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to him, one of the Akufo-Addo administration\u2019s shortcomings is that the party has failed to trumpet its own accomplishments in the creative sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t talk of the accomplishments enough. We are going to do it. Because we see, but there are a lot of key things, milestones that\u2019ve been chalked.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"stream-item stream-item-in-post stream-item-inline-post aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"stream-item-size\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cDo you know that today, 20 music executives have been pitched to the French government and they are enjoying training to be internationally accredited publishers in Ghana. It\u2019s never happened.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that the Ghana Trade Fair site has seen massive improvement because of the current government.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, I can tell you that at the trade fair centre, the round pavilion, the French government has actually pushed money into the round pavilion. \u00a0Today, it\u2019s been redone and I\u2019m seeing the model.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll these things are being done, but we are quiet and we don\u2019t talk about it. And people get up and say, you guys are doing nothing.
