Properties worths millions of Ghana Cedis were Sunday morning consumed by fire at Accra Zongo Lane.<\/p>\n

The fire which started in one warehouse spread to other warehouses and shops belonging to both locals and foreign nationals due to the unavailability of a fire tender leather.<\/p>\n

The fire is said to have started around 11am Sunday.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, Fire Service Personnel arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, they couldn\u2019t do much as right under their watch the fire spread across other warehouses.<\/p>\n

All the fire tenders brought to the fire scene were deemed weak, making it difficult for the water to reach its target.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A fire ladder was needed but the only fire ladder is based in Tema, leaving the fire personnel with no option than to stand and look on.<\/p>\n

Others took advantage of the situation to loot some properties.\u00a0\u00a0Owners of the various shops were left with no option than to relocate their goods as the fire kept spreading.<\/p>\n

Some of the items destroyed include, musical instruments, ladies wear, electrical appliances, furniture, phones accessories, ladies\u2019 bags, and children dresses.<\/p>\n

The cause of the fire is however yet to be established.<\/p>\n
