He said that the suspect was arrested by operatives from the Igarra Divisional Police Station in Akoko-Edo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ringCommonDetail ringBlockType-paragraph \">\n<p>NAN learnt that the suspect allegedly claimed to specialise in preparing charms against gunshots and machete cuts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ringCommonDetail ringBlockType-paragraph \">\n<p>A source further told NAN that the deceased had visited the native doctor\u2019s home to obtain the charm. It said that\u00a0<em>\u201cin a shocking turn of events\u201d,\u00a0<\/em><strong>Dauda<\/strong>\u00a0attempted to test the efficacy of the charm by shooting the client with a gun.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ringCommonDetail ringBlockType-paragraph \">\n<p>The charm was said to have failed as he sustained fatal injuries.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ringCommonDetail ringBlockType-paragraph \">\n<p><em>\u201cWhen he was rushed to a hospital in Igarra, he was pronounced dead by a medical doctor,<\/em>\u201d the source further said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ringCommonDetail ringBlockType-paragraph \">\n<p>Meanwhile, the police spokesman said that the suspect would face prosecution as soon as investigations were concluded.<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pulse.com.gh\"><strong>www.pulse.com.gh<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Police in Edo have detained a 19-year-old native doctor, Timothy Dauda, for allegedly shooting his client, Alex Ezekiel, to death during an \u201canti-bullet\u201d charm trial.
