Ghanaian musician<\/a> Denning Edem Hotor, popularly known as Edem, has weighed in on the ongoing Grammy discourse.<\/p>\n

The Recording Academy introduced a new category; Best African Music Performance for the 2024 edition of the awards.<\/p>\n

Tyla from South Africa<\/a> and Burna Boy<\/a>, Davido and Asake all from Nigeria<\/a> have been nominated. Unfortunately no Ghanaian artiste received a nomination.<\/p>\n

This has rekindled the debate as to whether indeed Nigerian artistes make better music than their Ghanaian colleagues.<\/p>\n
