Stand-up comedian and actor<\/span> Funny Face<\/a> has revealed that he bought poison worth GHC80 from Croatia to commit suicide at a point in life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking to Naa Ashorkor<\/a> on the Between Hours<\/a> show, he said, \u201cI went to buy rat poison to kill myself.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut it was when I was waiting for the change that I realised I wasn\u2019t ready to die, because how can someone who is ready to die be waiting for his balance?\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt happened, and I can\u2019t sugarcoat it, so I bought it GHC80 from Croatia<\/a>,\u201d the product ambassador said. \u201cTheir rats are stubborn, so their rat poison works faster.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I made mistakes in life<\/h4>\n

\u201cI was waiting for the change, so I noticed that I was not ready to die,\u201d Funny Face reiterated.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to him, he decided to commit suicide<\/a> because he felt he had made so many mistakes in life.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is very lonely at the top when you climb the success ladder. You might have people around you, but sometimes the love isn\u2019t real. <\/span>My manager advised me a lot, and somewhere along the line I got famous and began to lose it,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Funny Face added that his recovery from a series of depression that took him off stage for years has encouraged him to appreciate the need to assist those who are also struggling with personal issues.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you get famous, what used to be normal to you won\u2019t be normal to you again because you are walking and everybody is shouting your name, especially kids. I got carried away, and that was my downfall,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Funny Face has therefore advised celebrities to be humble and keep their circle close.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI used to have thousands of people around me. Now I have just four people I\u2019m working with. Keep the people in your circle before you become famous; those who came after that do not truly know you,\u201d the actor added.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
