Considering the state of the Ghanaian movie industry, actress Vicky Zugah is cautioning aspiring actors not to fall for the temptation of solely depending on acting for survival.<\/span><\/h2>\n

She mentioned that it was necessary to back their means of support with other jobs since the movie sector was not lucrative at the moment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cIf a young person approaches me to talk of their interest in acting, I will advise the person to have another means of income.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will guide them to have another profession on the side because depending merely on movies is not advisable because it is not reliable.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe current movie industry in Ghana is not something you can solely depend on. It could get better but for now it is better to get something on the side to keep you going,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Vicky has had her fair share of abusive relationships which have made her very cautious when it comes to men.<\/p>\n

And as a result, though she is very single now, she is not in any haste to be in a relationship.<\/p>\n

Vicky made this revelation when Graphic Showbiz reached out to her recently. \u201cI am not in a relationship, it is not in my plans for now. I have other things to concentrate on. When guys approach me, we talk for some time and then if it is not working for me, I just back off.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy preference is a man with ambition, a hardworking guy, God-fearing, gentle, respectful and loving. I am not looking for a perfect person but he needs to be above average for me,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n

Vicky hosts a sex-related show on UTV titled The Red Light and she says the feedback has been overwhelming, \u201cWe are in our third year now and the feedback has been great and we are really excited about it\u201d, she concluded.<\/p>\n
