Afrobeat artiste Kelvyn Boy who was
recently released from the Burniton Music Group owned by Stonebwoy, says he still does not know what he did wrong to fall out of favor with his former boss and to be kicked off the label.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Friday,September 27, Kelvyn Boy said, “I actually don’t know what i did wrong if you may ask me. I thought i was doing the right thing and what i expected was for Stonebwoy to be proud of me.
“I have always been loyal to the Bhim Nation brand everywhere i go and everyone knows the good things i say about my boss.
“I granted an interview where i said no Ghanaian musician does pure Dancehall and if how i answered the question was wrong i am using this opportunity to say I am sorry,”he said.
Kelvyn Boy also revealed that he had tried to apologies to Stonebwoy several times but the Kpo Keke artiste had refused to pick his calls saying , “I want people to accompany me to go and apologies to him if I have offended him in any way.
“Stonebwoy is my boss, my mentor and he will forever remain so. I was a fan before I even met him and everyone who knows me knows what i am saying,”he said.
The loko singer also urged everyone to respect the decision of the Burniton Music Group. They know what is right but i want Ghananians to know that i am a huge fan of Stonebwoy and i will continue to love him,”he said.
Kelvyn Boy also cleared the air that he was trying to rub shoulders with Stonebwoy and had become disrespectful.
“I am just starting my career and i will never rub shoulders with Stonebwoy. In fact my exit has shown that i was really doing a good job.Some artiste get signed and relax but i have been working,” he add.
Kelvyn Boy is known for songs like Na You, Mea ,Toffee, Nna Ama, Holiday Ginger, Loko, Afrobeats, My Story, Anything and No War.
