After Patapaa arrived from his European tour, he has reacted to some reports that he smoked weed worth about GHC500 within four days of his tour in Europe. Their were report that he spent about £80 on marijuana within four days while he was on the tour. However according to Patapaa the story is not true and it was only concocted by people who aren’t happy about his rise to stardom. Speaking to Andy Dostyon Day Break Hitz FM, Patapaa vehemently denied ever smoking in Europe saying that he doesn’t even knows were weed is sold in Germany or Italy. explaining why people make false stories like these , He said it’s because they are angry that God has made him popular, so they are trying to do everything possible to defame him that he had a dream were it was reveal to him that people want to destroy his career out of jealousy. Patapaa said he didn’t had any management it was God who touched the heart of media personnel and they made him popular and he sure people are angry because of it.
