The Ghananian wrestler Kofi Kingston has won the WWE Championship, describing it as a dreaming he doesn’t want to wake. The 37-years old defeated Daniel Bryan on Sunday night at wrestleMania 35 to become the new WWE Champion. Kofi Kingston is now the first African World Champion in the history of WWE and the second African-American after Dwayne {The Rock} to win the WWE Championship. Speaking after the victory ,the Kumasi -born wrestler described the victory as surreal. Winning this title is like a dream i don’t want to wake up ,It’s so emotional,like you work so hard to get here and things isn’t going your way and you don’t know if hard work is going to pay off ,It’s paying of right now it feels surreal I feels like a legitimate dream and i don’t want to wake up he said. He is also a member of the tag-team group The New Day with Big E and Xavier Woods. Kofi signed a developmental deal with WWWE in 2007,but made his first appearance year letter .Kofi Kingston is also a four time Intercontinental Champion, three time United State Champion and eight time World tag team Champion.
