Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum’s, tenacity and effort in bringing global attention to Ghana is worth celebrating, former President John Dramani Mahama has said. 

Afua has some 24 hours left to break the existing Guinness World Record on the longest individual singing marathon – sing-a-thon.

Former President Mahama in a Facebook post on Wednesday said Afua has provided an opportunity to showcase the strength, agency, and industry of Ghanaian women.

Asantewaa, a mother of three children started the marathon on the eve of Christmas.
