Lebanese-born Ghanaian businessman Hassan Zein has taken a legal action against net 2 Television and its owner, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong for showing him in a documentary in a tube. according to Mr Zein, effort to rich the Assin Central Member of parliament and his media firm to retract and consequently, apologies has proven futile. The plaintiff according to the showing of the documentary on December said it has damage his reputation. The documentary is said to have reviewed Mr Zein in drug, fraud,money laundering and corruptions deal by swindling his victims in Nigeria,Togo, Mali,and other countries. Mr Zein complain the video clip and the commentary and the discussion that followed after the clip were seriously damaging his reputations and his business. It is said that the plaintiff lawyers met Mr Kennedy and the management of Net 2 TV for amicable settlement of the issue. The defendant assured the businessman of getting those responsible for the video arrested and also assured of retracting the commentary done after the showing of the documentary. It is said that after three months the Mr kennedy refused to do all he promised to do to help salvage the sinking reputation of the plaintiff Mr Zein therefore seek an order from high court to have Mr Kennedy Agyapong and his media firm pay him 100 million Ghana Cedis and tender an unreserved apology.
